i find the search function excellent. i can always find what i need and it is fairly accurate.

for a crap search function try ed38. that is poor.

they just slated forum searches in general.

the search engine here though is great, you just have to take the time to do your reading, i think some people expect it all on a plate with out doing any research themselves

if you cant find what youre looking for using search, Mr. Arizona, you dont belong near a car forum.

if you know what you are looking for and know the right keywords then its great.

if i dont find what im after using the first word(s) i put in, i think of another way of saying it etc (i dont use it very often though, pretty much one txt and i get an uncomplicated answer back, this is better due to technical stuff and me not mixing too well )

if you class quicker as better then the 16v is better. If you think condition of the car makes it better get the best condition which is more likely to be 8v imo as more made and around now i think. I did see a royal blue 3 door small bumper 16v one on pistonheads recently. That would be a nice car!

I got an 8v. It was cheap. It was there. They are both good cars and very fun

yes i know the same questions come around every now and then , but instead of replying with "do a search" why not just give your thoughts takes just the same amount of time .

if you class better as "having enough torque to pull a tank, sideways, up the side of a mountain" then you already know which car to buy

8v is a great car as it is, there is no disputing that

sorry, i didnt see the greatness vs number of valves graph, but im sure there isnt the biggest differnce between the two. obviously the 16v is better but then i doesnt have the vertibrae threatening torque
