Do your research into Jay Caddick.

They can be made to fit, yes, but why would you do it to a poor defenceless Mk1...

This has got to be one of the worst things to do to a MK1. [:v:]

Sorry I can't help you with the 'how to', just keep your eyes on the mags(old ones too), every now and then there'll be one, have seen a german(army green) mk1 with just the front big bumpber and a few caddys in the mags also.
One things for sure, I am sick of people forcing their views on others, with out being asked. If every one was the same then we'd all be pretty boring, and you'd never see anything outrageous that might appeal or even grow on you.

I think Bonrath offered a kit a few years back, I seem to remeber being a bit pricey though, 300 per bumper.

Can't see why everyone is dissing big bumpered Mk1's. Yes the fashion this year is for old skool chrome bumpers but things could change.

IMHO clipper kits on hard top Mk1's can look awesome, Jay Caddicks G60 from 3 years back won everything and that had big bumpers and looked good.

Big or small on Mk1 or Mk2 doesnt matter as long as it is done well and not just bodged on.

I curled one off on the front of a MK1 and it looked much better than a big bumper conversion. But its only my opinion and I'm certainly not shoving that thing down your throat [xx(]
