the clipper/karmann kit arent known as big bumpers,its a kit specifically designed for a mk1 that fits correctly and i agree they can look wicked on hardtop mk1s. but mk2 big bumpers just dont do the classic mk1 shape any justice imo. Edited by: riley

look for a Citi Golf, South african imported one. you get big bumpers and a much newer car as well, late ones get a lupo stlye dash if I'm not much mistaken.
My mate's selling some mark 2 bumpers for a mark 1 sprayed mars red. Never fitted. Brand new condition - he had a decent offer for the car, so sold it while the bumpers were being sprayed at the bodyshop!
