No worries. The current owner has put a 2ltr 9a in it, ditched the FK's for Spax adjustables and fitted a set of gold RA's. looks a bit better than the ad pic at the top, but still not as tidy as when I cherished it. Ever regret selling a car......??
Shame - it did look minty. Hopefully things will get better. I feel your pain with the sale - the only car I ever regretted selling; last I heard was stripped out with various orange stripes [:^(]

Maybe... Ive only ever seen one more Golf with the red line and the red logo on the back like mine, so definitely not a one off. Its just strange, as mine had the GT badge from new, along with this red stripe?

it really is a great car and to be honest i dont want to sell it, but i have a long term mk2 project and the missus has a classic mini so ireally need a sensible daily driver that i dont mind racking up the miles on.

Why do I keep seeing this car up for sale when I havn't got the dollar to buy her back [:^(] Also, why have they listed it as Royal Blue, when it was Helios Blue? Not sure I'd want it back now though, would be like taking back your ex mrs after some bloke's been knobbing her for a couple of years , though I'd still be tempted to buy/strip/rebuild/restore just for the REG and the memories.....
