    right time for another quick update the plate was test fitted at the weekend to make sure
    it fitted right, and it was a good job I did, still needed a little tweeting, here it the test fit
    picture, sorry only had the phone so not the best picture but you get the idea

    then gave it some acid etch

    it's currently sat with high build on it curing, ready for paint

    also added these for BVF, not to every ones taste but.... i like them hehehe

    Are you still after the boot trim that you put up an ad for in the wanted section?

    Right time for an update....

    Although I trimmed the parcel shelf ok, the glue went soft in the heat and the cloth
    decided it no longer wanted to stay upside down, schoolboy error not using the right glue.

    So had it done by the lads that did the car, while there they also made a sleeve for my
    rear strut brace, and trimmed the boot protector.

    new clean boot

    asked them to detail the strut brace sleeve in the same style as the steering wheel, see

    And the plate for the side of the engine is now done and on, can't believe
    how much a difference it makes, good call jay!

    Had a good day at the detailed show today and picked best engine bay trophy up

    have to say it is the best trophy I have, and nice to get a trophy that is
    not off the shelf and has had some time and effort put into like the cars
    on show, so thanks to the detailed peeps

    cheers for the comments, makes it worth the effort, thanks!

    and yes contact PSI as they did the bulk of work, as in they smoothed all the bay
    and drop the engine in ha!

    although me and a good friend have done the manifold/rocker cover and engine
    side plate this year, which gave it a complete new look to last year I think.

    yeah, apart from the best in show trophy, which was given to chris peacock for his mk5
