Mobile mobi upgrade....IPHONE FREE ZONE PLEASE!!!!

Its that time again, the 18month contract upgrade to a new phone hunt begins!
Not looking at the iphone as ive too many paid for Android apps, so any ideas om the latest bestest mobis?

I was looking at an HTC Sensation XE the other day, looks pretty good if you ask me!

 

No help I know, but I've just ordered a new iPhone 4 (not S) in replacement of my BB Bold. There are some good deals about on this 'old' model, you can even get the old 3GS for even less.

 

I'm still liking my HTC Desire S. (android ftw)

 

I've been forever put off Andriod phones after a terrible experiance with an LG bag-o-toss and associated hell dealing with Tesco Mobile.

My BB was marginly better, but boring.

My mates have got Galaxy phones and love them, but I've got 100's of tracks on my iTunes and no ipod at the moment..

 

I've nothing apple based and arnt looking to go that way either.... Two guys at work have iphones and neither are impressed. I like the fact the android is open market and if it gets band from the market you can still download it from the tinterweb!

 

iPhones are gay - so no need to worry about looking for one of them.

I've got an HTC Desire - which is a great phone, mine's now 18 months old and I've gone onto Sim only, as I couldn't find a phone I wanted to replace it with.

Galaxy S2 gets great reviews - I've used my lass's one and it's pretty damn neat. I has a Sensation for a week, which was great, but essentially just a slightly larger, slightly faster Desire.

If I wanted a small ish smartphone I'd go Desire S, slightly larger Sensation or Galaxy S2, but I'd also be tempted to think about a Sensation XL - big smart phone, but still easier to pocket than a 7" tablet.

 

GF has the HTC Desire, was good up until it crashed, known fault with the processor and mother board, week later and it was returned upgraded with all the new upgraded parts.

 

Glad I didn't know about that 18 months ago or I might not have got one

Its apparently rare but does happen, something to do with trying to do to much at once, if that was ever possible on a phone.

 

Apple all the way!!! Also once jailbroken all Apps are freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...hehehe

Well in the absence of deako - I loved my Iphone 3GS and love my new Iphone 4s.


I'm not one of those freaks that must own everything apple, in fact its the only apple I own - fruit or computer ware - and I cannot fault it for one second of the 18+ months of being an Iphone owner.


It just works. All the time.

 

Sheesh, all the peeps deffending theyre iphones, its like the 8v versus 16v argument all over again! You should see the banter on my facebook page my sisters getting the hump about it properly!

If you want an android phone then go for it. The nexus seems to have some good performance stats... too early to tell on reliability, but probably well worth a look.
