Huba Huba! The old S8's are soooo cheap for what they are, I get the feeling that this one wil hold its value a little more.[:^(] Fordo!
doesnt this thing have a sport mode like the bm's?! i don't get the point in it, you buy that type of car for a reason, you want full power, hugging seats and proper throttle responce permanentley! but nonetheless, awesome........
I doubt it tbh, Executive cars like that never do..... Its a peach of an engine, had a Gallardo a few weeks back in work, had great torque from the off and pulled really well to the redline was a bit slower revving than I expected but it certainly sounded good, to be honest if I was a Gallardo owner I would be a bit annoyed having the same engine fitted in a big saloon kind of takes away some of the "specialness" of the engine but VAG are well known for this type of engine sharing dont know how its going to cope in the S8 which despite its aluminium construction is still a heavy car, cant help but feel that the twin turbo W12 from the Continental would have been a better bet although Audi have gone on record saying that they want to ditch forced induction on the S / RS models and go for high revving N/A engine instead, personally Id rather have a more torque based motor it just seems to suit large salons better
