    I like a lot [:D]

A little disappointed with the 400 lbft of torque. I guess it's not bad for a N/A engine, but it's only 20 lbft more than mine...

Still think I prefer the older shape one like in Den's post :)

    sorry, couldn't resist[:$]

Just read the full report on fortitude. It weights 1940 kg, but still manages 5.1 s to 100 km/h :o

Talking to the guy who owned the B7 S4 (4.2 V8) at Ed38, he said he was running 400 bhp from a cat back exhaust and remap. I wonder what such goodies could yeild on the S8? [:D]

The inside is like a gentlemans club. Its got every gadget imaginable.

Telly, built in phone, sat nav, paddle shift gearbox, memory seats, etc. . .

These are cars only to have when new.
They are cheap after 7 years because hardly anyone can afford the running costs on them.

I know of someone who bought an S-class and the autobox went - 6k repair bill!
Don't think he thought he got a bargain after that!:)

I was at the point of buying one in Dubai.

    They have no suspension travel.

    Big service bills.

Very nice interior, well made etc.

    VERY dull to drive.

Sound great. A huge disapointment on what I expected it to be, I really wanted to like the car. If you don't like driving, it's perfect. Hope the new one is better.

    Dave!
