Looks crap!! Mk3 trim? What were you thinking?

I'll take loads of pics when i do my fronts next week. Only advice i gan give now is split the front seats in half to make the job easier for whoever welds them, cover the leather with something and take one of your rainbow seats along, not just a measurement.

And on the bottom of the seats there is a bar with a 13mm bolt on one side and an allen key thing on the other, remove then and the subframe will fold away from the seat and be easier to work on ;)

Heres a pic from the first time with the leathers. You can see where the leg was cut, when it was re welded on a bit further over he just did a couple of spot welds so we could trial fit it and knock it straight if needed, he then proper welded it, painted it black, fitted the base then reattached the back of the seat. He also put a new bar in for extra support.

You can just make out where we melted a bit of the leather as well [:$] Cover yours with a big potato sack or something first!!!!

Dont go to garages, go to sheet metal places/engineering places, chances are they will have a bloke who will do it blindfolded for f few quid on his lunch break.

Is your subfarme completely off? Got any pics?????
