Ach, i went for the cramped, small boot impractical vehicle ;)

Never noticed when looking at the pics earlier, but those rubber bands on the wheels appear to have been stretched on. . . .

It hit every p1ss poor delay at the factory along the way (Xenons, sunroof bodyshells, shortage of RCD510s and lack of MFSWs).

The trouble is, there is nothing else out there that I'd want instead, or I'd have walked in November when it was first promised.

I'm too lazy to live with a Rocco, Andy.
The g/f's sister has just got one...a baby 1.4TSI thing - but I couldn't live with it daily.

You can't go far wrong with Tornado Red / tartan.

The silver R ordered at a similar time to yours is there now, sitting prepped and up at the back of the yard - that lads in Baku for a month, and just missed it. I was admiring it today whilst the Dent Devil mannie removed a stonechip ding from my front wing!

    Your's can't be far now...

    Nonsense!
There is no stretch/poke/tuck or other 'scene' related horsefeathers anywhere on my vehicle. [:x]

    8.5" wide wheel = 216mm wide in mm...fitted with a 225/35/19 tyre.
    It's sits utterly square. [:D]

I could have fitted 235s for more rim protection, but they numb the chassis a bit and can hit on full lock...so 225s it is.

Our VW dealer has the R20 in black and was wearing these wheels which grabbed my eyes!

Awesome looking car and those rims and slightly lowering make it look spot on :)
