nitrous on mk2 8v ???

what bottle pressure and fuel pressure are you running with the 100bhp jets, and are you using a bottle heater to get the bottle pressure?

also what spark plugs are you using ?

 

fuel pressure is standard. cant quite remember the plugs, i think there ngk 8's....i think the standard plugs are 6's

 

Good to see there are a few nitrous boys on here, I've been running a 50shot on my 1.3 polo gt for ages now, uppped it to an 80shot before replacing the engine (to put throttle bodies on it)

Now going to upgrade to a direct port set-up probbaly use about 65bhp shot, ran a 15.3 last year with a bad missfire and 35mph headwind (excuses excuses!)

I've also got a fire extinguisher bottle which is exactly the same fittings as the WON gas bottles..... stealth anyone

 

Hello there just finished fitting my direct port injection system, was running 100bhp on the single injector so hopefully will be alot better mixture and be able to run 125bhp jets thuis year.

 

gonna test the car on APRIL 9 @york dragway ...

also a GTI shootout day on 27 AUGUST @york dragway.

seems my car made 35 bhp / 55 lbft torque on 50 jets , may just go to 75 jets.

 

i was was gonna fit nos to my 8v with a 2.0 bottom end but i've since converted to abf 16v power its quick but i know i am gonna get bored intill i get the money for a turbo kit how much nos do you lot reckon the abf is good for and will the standard kit be good enough? it'll be nice to get over 200hp out of it on nos

 

i'll be there too 8th & 9th April with the rest of the lads.
