i just had a few pics sent to me. check the guys legs hanging out the front! and this! i wonder where the guy has gone.
So to everyone that owns a 106, i was right, about as much structural integrity as an empty crisp packet. The one at the top looks a bit worrying, i thought the cone of the car was the safest bit due to the driver being in there, of course it also looks quite old so could of been before certain safety measures.
i hit the side of an slk on a scooter before and caved the door in. to be honest not many cars would withstand an engine being thrown at the door at 80mph
Don't say that, I'm driving a little 106 just now while the MK1 is tucked up for winter Mind you, it does feel as safe as driving around in a bean can [:^(] Sx
I remember the top one it was, alex zinnardi, he had both legs amputated , The guy is a fecking star though he is back racing cars again (Touring). respect
I thought this was the picture of zinardis crash, not the two above, i can distingtly remember that his legs were missing most of their substance to start with hence the complete amputation. Edit: as said in little quote in picture. Edited by: Trev16v
oh yeah i know that, he did a little documentary on how he was having to get used to braking using the steering wheel and how he had to practice to get into a natural flow of things. Top fella.
