    what do you think to me getting some smaller fatter wheels and changing my 17"s??

    what do you think would look good? 15"'s 16"'s?

    should i bother?

    yeah, go smaller and the car will feel like a rocket ship (well, not quite, but it'll feel less sluggish), and be easier to drive on the limit.

    i was thinking of some deep dish porsche style rims or something?

    Lucky tim, When i talked about doing anything to my car before i passed my test all i got was "pass your test first!"
    Go for some Phat 15 BBS's 17's a touch big for a 1.8 carb.

    how much do you recon i could pick up a set of 15/16" deepdish 7" on the front 8" on the back,

    Why do i say 15's...

    1) Very good tyres cheap
    2) MK2's feel perfect on them
    3) Brilliant braking, accelerating and cornering
