Agreed, it wasn't a criticism.
It's just in everyones interest surely, to save time and money on fuel.

 

only 9 mile difference between the drive to Basingstoke or Portsmouth from Southampton. When I had my mk1 I drove 200 miles to Dubsport because I knew it would get the right level of service. I didn't think 9 miles would be a factor but, in general, I agree with you.

 

have cleaned ..meter with cleaner..plus throtle body... when i have money ill, get golf looked at again by ..jkm took car out today for a good run .. as i thought.. no fault ..car ran okay ,problem could .arise again at any time when you dont expect it thanks again steve../
