R32 Golf buying guide advice

    If you don`t ask you don`t get, besides - the question itself may give you a pointer as to whether there`s something sinister lurking.

    If not a full RR then maybe an emissions test to check the CAT etc and ask to see the receipts / set up documentation.

    Our car...yes, a good combination all down to my wife`s taste.

    Where in Wales are you ? I`m from Swansea but living in Aberdeen and soon to be working in London !!!

    If you get it HPI checked (and get the certificate) and it turns out to be stolen cant you claim your money back?

    Yes, I believe you can, as I say, don't know what the outcome was.

    If you do a vehicle check with the AA you're also insured IIRC and if there any any major probs, surely an engineer would pick them up.

    Can't cost more than 100 and to get a sale after a couple of weeks, the seller might even knock that off the cost...? :thumbup:
