Having a bit of a blast along some country roads late this afternoon in my mk1 (once it was dry again [xx(] !) having overtaken about 6 sunday drivers (Hey, it's saturday!) when I notice a bright blue car doing the same thing about 4 cars behind...

    3 cars behind...

    2 cars behind...

Erm... on my tail now [:s]

Managed to keep him behind me for another couple of miles and then he blatted past me at atleast 80mph (considering this was a fairly twistly b-road). Stayed with him for another 3 miles before my brakes started to fade. [8(]

Obviously the R in R32 stands for 'respect'. Not a bad bit of driving Mr HF53xxx heading towards Hastings on the B2086!

    Cheers,

    Drew.

Bog standard mk1 1.8. Latest rolling road gave me a generous 120bhp though.

    Cheers,

    Drew.

An R32 could leave my Mk2 16v for dead I`m sure but I`m more than happy with my car.

Wouldnt really want an R32 TBH ... <waits for abuse>

I`d rather have the Oettinger tuned Mk4 that my local dealer has on the forecourt [:D]
