ragazzi qualcuno di voi ha sostituito il radiatore con il gruppo ventola su Golf Mk2 1.8 16v kr con qualcosa di più grande e di un'altra auto? Ho il problema che montando il clima il radiatore originale non va

1.8 8v rad is a bit bigger, and plenty good enough for a 16v. tbh the original rad is also good enough, the trouble is finding an original spec 16v rad isnt so easy these days often you get sold a 1.6 rad instead

I bought a longer mk2 radiator for my 1.8t but didn't fit it as intercooler was in way, so let @PhilRyder have it, may have been an aircon gti rad, can't find it in my list, I just ran the original rad with 2 slim fans fitted due to room.
Really can't remember, and this may jog @rubjonny but isn't there a seat toledo radiator that fits and was suggested in a few threads?

yeah all the normal mk2 golf ones are on the right except for the 1.1-1.3 plus g60. So if you want one with hoses on the left you could fit a normal mk2 rad upside down or look at golf/corrado g60/vr6 instead.

the seat toledo often uses similar rads as well depending on age/engine, as dodgy mentioned I have a seat toledo ABF aircon rad in my mk2 which is identical to the the mk2/corrado g60 aircon rad except its missing a couple of the mounting points for the fan shroud. but thats easily sorted or not a problem depending on your fan package

I'm finding the IR plus 03002155 or Nissens 652011 for 1.8-2.0 gasoline or 2.0 TDI.
Sizes are 650x415 (or 430, even lower ones with 322 mm available)
I am not interested in the aircon obviously, just the fact that it's a big radiator with flanges on the LHS.

It also looks like the mounting pins are placing the radiator more to the front than the ones I know (pins in the middle of the radiator).

the non-ac g60 rad is 535121251B and same size as a mk2 16v one, but with outlets on the left side and will probably do you just fine if you can find one.

the ac ones I posted are overkill really, only reason I'm running one is the climatronic system I've fitted. which one day, soon, maybe, in 20 years have working ac system plumbed to it

Haha, I'm still with the temperature issues like before, but I haven't tried the water-wetter tips from Tristan yet. Still looking for all options ofcourse [:D]

the problem is precisely that the toledo has the pipe connections on the right and I have no possibility to mount the pipes on the right because I mount the climatronic golf mk3 and the pipes do not fit

But the Toledo has the connections on the left on the pictures...?

I've also seen come with entry top left and output half-high on the right. Normally it's top (in) and bottom (out) on the right?

When speaking of left and right, it's always in the vehicles axle.

So the toledo has the pipes on the left, MK2 Golf has them both on the right. So what do you need? Original MK2 is also available in 650 mm wide, with the pipes on the right.
If that's not good, take the Toledo one with the pipes on the other side.
