For Nitrous re-fills please visit my website www.nitrousrefills.co.uk

I'll put a video on to compare the performance to the NOS System.

Here you go Paul Bargate's Rocco MK2 fwd 2.1L 16V on Weber 45's TB's c/w 150 bhp progressive nitrous oxide system fitted by me.

The NOS Solenoids were changed to Wizards of Nos pulsoids for better performance and reliability.

The 300 deg CAT Cams have been specifically designed for Nitrous use. The engine runs 240BHP NASP without the Nitrous.

Ran 12.2 sec 1/4 mile on Sunday at POD with all time best terminal speed of 120 MPH.

its a tempting idea to add to badgerwagen for non circuit racing stuff..
help the big turbo spool, keep things cool, and add some more power that I can spin away into tyre smoke! - lol

Spool up time is much better Bill

Looking forward to my better solenoids as even with cr*p american solenoids is still impressive gain in low rpm range and i'm only using 75 bhp jets

Should be entertaining with 125 bhp jets soon to be installed!

I will also install pressure switch to cut nitrous off once turbo is just before full boost at around 1.5-1.7 bar

Probabley get better performance with 40bhp jets in the wizards kit, than 75bhp in the NOS kit.

i like it i like alot i want a kit fitting to mine but wouldnt know where to start as id need to remap the ecu

Megasquirt has Nitrous facility, but with 50bhp you won't have to re-map the ecu. Only if you go for more than 100bhp :)

brookster, im looking to put "50bhp" of nos onto my abf. how much would a kit like this cost? would my relatively standard ecu be ok?

do you have an afr gauge on there?
look like hot, lean, and potential det on there..

  18. sambo Paid Member Paid Member

    I do bill

on high load full throttle afr drops to high 11-s low 12-s

egt, when giving it beans rarely goes over 800* and im not running water/meth inj, normal driving 500*, steady 80mph on m-way 700* or less

lastnite i had a do on private road against 08 plate ferrari, up to 150mph+ for cpl minutes
    820* or so

All this with air filter in baking hot engine bay 30*+ intake temps at air filter, soon to be relocated into custom build cold air intake box in place of battery

    Any thoughts on these temps?

Mind you these plugs were from original build, car did quite few miles pre maping sess so it could have been then i guess

Sambo these are the plugs condition before you fitted the new Pulsoids are they ?

Looks like they have been running Lean

i would fit new plugs and run it to make sure its not running lean now try here for new plugs.

    www.sparkplugs.co.uk

When you are sure the mixer is correct on normal running, the try the new nitrous system, don't use the bottle heater first and run it with the N2O pressure @ 600 PSI this will ensure it runs rich.
