temps sound fine. but I would replace those plugs and keep an eye on them.
afr's are in the zone also..

If these are old plugs like you say, I would retire them.

Just been for a spin with water/meth injection, seems to be working ok

Bill, what setings do you recommend on progressive controller?

I'v set it to start injecting at about 0.4 bar and full power at around 1 bar onwards

    U think that's ok?

Cheers for supplying the kit Bill, no problems with it at all

Cools the charge(air) just before it enters the engine

Also increases the RON rating of the fuel to prevent detonation and knocking

If you advance the timing it gives more power that way to

And it cleans the carbon build up as well

It can be run along side of the nitrous as well

I remember back in the day, 1987! when the RS500 was first out i read an articule about a guy who used NOS to get the bloody thing to spool up!

He had a microswitch on the throttle pedal which allow NOS whist boosting then knocked it off onec there, great idea for you BT boys!

so where does the kit fit im guessing i tap into the intercooler with it ? or do i need a different type of intercooler?

im upgrading to a k03s so while im splashing the cash i think i may get one of the kits if its easy enough to instsall (cant be any harder than fiting a 20v lol) any chance of some pics or a fitting thread:lol:

water meth will ideally want to spray as close to the intercooler outlet as practical. It would want a small boss in there to screw into. 1/8" NPT or M10x1 typical fittings, but dependant on the kit you choose.

Its very easy to install indeed

I will post up few pics of my install, obviously all applications are different but you will get the idea

Had the car on a m-way run yesterday, about 30 mile long with water/meth running

When i reached destination i'v checked my inlet manifold, it was cold to touch, and i mean COLD, almost can of stella from the fridge kinda cold!

I'v managed to plumb in my mist injector into silicone hose, no issues and no boost leaks

sounds like the water/meth kit is ideal for me then i suffer from heat soak under my bonnet in a big way so if i can run that to keep the air cool bonus what kinds of performance gains would there be?

If you can play with ignition timing, fair bit of power can be gained, depends on your engine/turbo set up

I'v heard from 10 bhp easy to 50-60 bhp can be gained on highly tuned engines!

Bill is your man to ask, i'm sure he will correct me

Well just been out for a little play[:D]

With nitrous at around 800 psi pressure it kicks like a mule!

Afr-s stayed at high 11-s on average, sometimes dipping lower so i'm sure it will be ok to put bottle heater on and take the press up to 900 psi

Egt-s were good as well, in 5-6 sec long bursts with nitrous they will shoot up to 850* or so and then come down straight away to 600*-700*

I'v run with water/meth injection switched on as well

Inlet manifold still cold as it can be:)

You got it covered then bud

Deffo worth it to keep temps and detonation down
