It started up for the first time today. [:D]

As the exhaust and some of the vacuum are not fitted yet, it was running a little rough.

But its going, so thats the main thing.

    Cheers everyone

Seems like the old starter wasn't up to the job. Strange though, as it was fine on the 8v ?

    New starter is great though.

Also, i noticed that the timing was out a little, so off with the tensioner, lined everything up and it started first time [:D]

Its a little bit lumpy though. Up and down on the revs, but i think thats down to all the vacuum pipes, exhaust not connected, ect.

The whole PVC system has been removed, and ive got to add a catch tank in there.

I also need to make sure all the vacuum pipes from the turbo to the N75 and dv are connected up correctly. I'll try and use the MK4 as a guide as best i can.

I couldn't stay in any longer on sunday, so had to do something car related.

Luckily i was nice and dry in my lock up doing it [:D]
