Silicone Sealant on Exhaust Joints

    Mine exhaust joints were a lot better after using silicone on them. I just used whatever my dad had in the shed in the end :lol:

    why not just iron the can or a suitable metal to the pipe?

    I never thought of using silicone before, im going to give this a go in the morning as my four branch always blows a little. No matter how much paste i use.

    Don`t put any upstream of o2 sensors (narrow and wideband) the fumes will kill them pretty quickly. You can get o2 safe sealant, think Wurth do some?.

    I`ve used Hylomar Blue before and it works a treat, high temp rated.
