Thanks! Yeah without any muffler she's a screamer for sure. I'm not totally sure on the Mazda, the driver is a bit of a tire magnet, but the Isachsen Focus blew a motor in a big way the heat before (you can still see some of the oil dry in the vid) and he may have hit some of that.

I'll see what other correction factors we have in the software, I'm pretty sure DIN is in there...I'll post up when I do.

Numbers on that motor with various correction factors (i think this may be the run before or after 011, since the uncorrected doesn't match up, but I'm not at the shop w/ the dyno so can't check it):

    SAE @ the wheels - 181.8hp and 147.7tq
    DIN @ the wheels - 187.7hp and 152.5tq
    Uncorrected @ the wheels - 188.9hp and 153.4tq

Just saw this thread and was going to add the quantum rally sport car haha

We also make some respectable numbers in our road race car, we dont have a ABF bottom end but the numbers are still relevant. There is also a scirocco I will post up using an ABA bottom end with ABF pistons and a TDI crank making some very impressive NA numbers

    Our setup:
9a 16v bottom with Integrated rods and 12:1 Wossners
PL 16v head, mild port work by Jake @ JRM Fab
    TT 276 cams
we run a mix of 92 and 110
    Megasquirt
    50mm intake
    3" inlet with cone filter

    179.5 WHP
159 w/tq (not sure if this is accurate, ill have to dig up the dyno plot)

that's a great read, nice to see that it follows traditional thinking and there are no "hidden" techniques

high compression, big cams, big valves, thorough head work and a good setup. Never fails
