I'm pretty sure the Fusebox layout is not quite right now. It seems to me that the fuse positions are reversed.
For example according to the Haynes Manual, diagrams I've found online, and of course the fuse box cover, shows fuse position 1 as the Radiator Fan where it is infact it is the 'Low Beam Right', fuse 22.
Fuse No.5 states it is for the 'Fuel Pump' where infact it is fuse No.18 for the 'Fuel Pump'.
Fuse 3, 'cigarette lighter, interior light etc' is actually fuse no. 20 that is for 'number plate and glove box light'
Well I hope you get my drift, It seems the fuses are reversed. No.1 being no.22
    Now that's Numberwang !!
Am i looking at the wrong diagrams. Is it actually possible to reverse the order easily without completely rewiring. Why would they be reversed if so? I unplugged all the fuses as I thought some where the wrong amperage and to check for fury contacts!
I've probably just been looking at the wrong diagrams. I've tried to find the same diagram as my fuse layout but to no avail. If anyone could just let me know if I am being stupid it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I had a bit of a break from repairing the car. It still has a fuelling problem. I've got a horrible feeling that I didn't clean the old fuel from the tank properly. I'm going to go and play with it in a bit. I may go and disconnect the fuel pipes running to the engine and see if it pumps without the pressure. If there's no fuel getting through still i may clean the tank again and put more fuel in it. Two Jerry can's should be enough shouldn't it? If no joy I think I may look into a mk3 tank like RubJonny suggested.
I think the Jones's across the road are getting fed up seeing what look's like a tatty car on my driveway too. It may look a bit tatty to them but not to me !

oh dear. I haven't updated my incontinence recently lol. Had a few seizure's again, one in the local groceries, one at the parents house and one at home. I've kind of lost enthusiasm. Just received my licence but just had it taken away too. I'm useless with the car. Wondering if there is anyone near Bognor to help me. I just need someone to come round and give me a kick up the arse so to speak and show me what I need to do to the car, step by step !

Sorry life ain't so good, my mate hade the same thing when he was having seizures as he got his Ford probe on the road, stick with it buddy.
You could always build a dubscooter, there's a company on ebay selling t3 pickup shells for tot-rods, seriously thought of getting one to play with.
    *incontinence made I chuckle.

I would prefer a mk5 but this mk4 seems more of a collectors car. I'm surprised no one of us lot haven't snapped it up.
Spring soon so gotta make the mk2 work. All you are lot doing up cars perfectly and I cant even get mine to start ! Anyone near Bognor ?

I wouldn't say they're undesirable, I think they're ugly as F*** personally. They seem to fetch really good money.

There's quite a few cards in there but I cant unwrap em. My mates dad gave them to me from his franchise when I was about 17.... 28 years ago, almost 29 !. He told me to keep hold of them.

There's a England flag on it. I'll get a pic next time I'm near my car. Is it any good or just a common part. Cant seem to find one on the net!

As for the cards, Top Trumps maybe !
I've got a Wolfsburg steering wheel that's been hanging up in the garage for ever. Its not that pretty but may suit someone's car. If anyone want's it then you can have it. Just pick it up from Bognor
