What a dodgy scenario. Glad it's all being sorted but I'd still feel majorly peed off. This sorta thing is part of the reason my stereo is all going from the mk2 :)

mate, we get this kind of thing all time in ilford. to fit sounds i used to tell customers or mates to meet me in a supermakrket carpark so that people wouldn't know where the car was from or worse comes to worst meet at night time to fit sub and amps etc which was real hard but had to be done to ensure security and no theiving c**** would see that the car had ICE.

as for your car stud, thats messed up geez and i fell for you. maybe its time u found out who these mates of the cleaner guy are...when u find out keep it under your hat for a little while and when your cars gone from garage do away with them (not literally)

    Hey Paul,

Bad news, but at least he has agreed to replace the gear.

the bodyshop hasn't got my address, they got my parents (the registered address). Car's parked under cctv at home, and same at work. can delete all remotes when I get it back and reprogram again, although not likely that someones got a fob for it, they'd need valet code.

maybe, if i ever get my car back. been in there since 18th july, been a delay with tailgate. but it's worth waiting for, premier flushed boot. do miss my 20V,,,,,, 1.6 focus really doesn't do anything for me.

Sorry to hear about that paul.
Definitely suspect just from the cleaners reaction.
Just a question of how to set them up or track them down.

    Sorry to hear about that.

I never trust any place unless I know them all.

Hate it when the VW dealership says the car has to stay for a few days..............
