I do wonder where a lot of these cars from the 80's are now - i.e. '2323 D' above, the white D reg 16v press car, and the various GTI Engineering and BR Motorsport cars.

To add to the pictures, here is a GTI I saw in a garage in Hong Kong just last week. It has what looks like a BBS body kit. The spec is quite unusual (by UK standards): 1986 5 door 16v with factory air-conditioning, in helios blue. The interior is half leather, half velour. This spec is similar to New Zealand / South African mk2 GTI's I have seen pictures of.

I got some Zender Turbo 1`s on my 85 gti, they were white once, so i guess from one of the kitted cars
