    Is that really 10k rpm? Maybe my sound quality is poor but not 100% sure about that.[:s]

    Yep. And this thread (which I assume you have read in it's entirety before posting) has already featured several FI cars on the grounds that (arguably) FI makes great sounding cars sound even better :)

    i dont think any turbocharged car can match the sound of n/a. vr6 with itbs sound nicer then a turbo, people only like turbocharged cars because of the noise of the turbo, thats arguably cheating when its the engine noise we love. from a ferrari fxx to a valver on carbs nothing can beat n/a.

    I love N/A cars but I'll be honest my Corrado sounds amazing when driving it. I do think though the VW VR engines be it 12v or 24v are up there as one of the best sounding engines.

    Seen this at the somerset stages rally a few weeks ago shame its banned next year, had to go see it in action 1 last time not bad for a potato farmer lol:thumbup:

    Agree - must go and watch it this year for the last time. Woodpecker Stages if it's not been & gone already.

    The sequel is being readied I hear - rumour was slipped when I stumbled over a friend of his at Autosport.
