I live next door to a Snap On guy (Richard Sales) but can't afford to even ask to have a look inside the van!

Nice, a powerfile is on my wishlist too!
Last week a welding blanket and a new set of long nuts in 17, 19 and 21 arrived for the wheel gun. The old ones still work but 17 and 19 get a little worn out and it's noticeable.

A guy at work has just got one and it’s wicked. I fell in love!

I got myself a new 1/4 ratchet, I traded in a cyclops ratchet I never used for it.

My Lad started full time as an apprentice car mechanic so needed a couple more bits. (He's been on the Snap-on van and bought some 1/2 deep impacts already).

I got hold of an MG725 Air gun for a good price, bought him an M12 3/8 Stubby impact gun for lighter duties but Halfords on Sunday were the star of the show.

Their 46 piece impact socket set is amazing value, £100 (but even cheaper with my trade card).

Tempted to buy another set and leave it in the case for home!.

Treated myself to a Sealey 2008 drill bit sharpener as well, I hand sharpen them at work but thought I'd treat myself for home.

    Really good bit of kit!.

The Halfords stuff is definitely the way to go if you’re starting out. I just like them because they look pretty. I rarely use them.

I had a sealey sharpener and it was awful, it was so bad I learned to do it by hand.

Tried (and failed!) to take a picture of a sharpened drill bit.

    Worked a treat.

Got the new long nose pliers.

Everyone in the tool world has been raving about them, seen video of people hanging off them. Well… they don’t disappoint.

They’ll hold my body weight, they grip onto almost anything and they’re just the right size.
