It's already gone blue, even without the string - is that a bad sign? I'm letting the blood go into pint glasses to save it for a transfusion, and I have 7 so far. So I've only got two pints of blood left? [:s]

I'm filling back up with whiskey to try and keep things balanced, but I think I might need the string after all........ just lucky my whole livingroom is tiled from top to bottom with a floor drain, for an easy hose-down after a quick read of "Chix with Dix"......

I will ignore the rudeness of your posts and answer this for you. As the flow of air into the cylinders is restricted by closing the throttle butterfly. It forces the engine to drag the air through a narrow opening, creating a partial vacuum in the inlet manifold. As the air entering the cylinder during the intake stroke is below atmospheric pressure, there is less of it. A smaller amount of fuel is injected. The smaller fuel/air charge causes the engine to run at low power, as desired. But, as well as having this intended effect, maintaining the partial vacuum in the inlet manifold wastes energy. As the piston moves down during the intake stroke, normal pressure below it and a partial vacuum above cause drag on the crankshaft's rotation. This does also reduce power output, which is what we want, but at the expense of wasted fuel. Therefore the twin butterfly TB would help as the small butterfly would probably be wide open in a part throttling instance and and smooth the passage of air into the plenum and cylinders.

Like i said earlier these are my thoughts and if you disagree fair enough but have you researched the effect of the twin butterfly throttle body in this application yourself then, on an engine dyno?

I'd say his YEARS of experience working on virtually everthing would beat any uni theory.

Are you one of those t**sers who thinks all the uni theory makes you an expert??? [:[] [:[] Without any real life experiance?

    I hate t**ts like you TBH :)
