heard good things about this alarm, what experiences have you had?

best place after a quick scour of the net was 350 fitted, anywhere cheaper than that?

I'm chuffed with mine, about what I paid for it a while ago too.
unlike the clifford o similar money it has a lock button and an unlock button that means you can be sure you pressed it once and locked it, not having to look and see if you actually just unlocked it .... (worst bit of the cliffords I;ve used)

I'm also thinking of getting the same alarm fitted to my G to replace the flashpoint CAT1 I've got now.

anyone know any GOOD (not necessarily cheap!) installers round north manchester?

Your local Toad installer should be able to supply a new loom for the new alarm install. I would have thaught they could put the old one right again, but it may be cheeper to just get a whole new install in the new car.

i had one in the last mk1, was 300 all in, came to my house to fit it, guys who featured in the golf a few years back, mobile based from birmingham.

good alarm. lots of opportunity for it to do a lot of things on the car. :p

Had mine 3 years. The only problem is that it eats the battery if I don't use the car every 3 weeks.

Good news is some scrote tried to nick it and the alarm did its job :)

It saved my project car, and yes it does drain the battery a bit (i have to regually start up the car and run it for a bit or charge the battery up)

I now want to fit proximity, two stage shock and tilt to it to after the break in the other night, looking for some where to get the sensors "supply only".

Hi, I'm new to this forum and am certainly in the wrong place considering I own a Vectra, but this is the only place that pops up on Google when searching for info on the AI606!

I have one of these fitted to it, but it was fitted when I bought it. It does a great job after stopping an attempted theft but the interior ultrasonic sensors dont seem to work. I've sat in the car and armed it, but nothin happens until I try to open the door!

Does anyone have the wiring instructions for this, if so please, please email me with a picture or copy of them. I've read also that it can be connected to the headlights and additional sensors can be attatched, has anyone done it?

    Thanks in advance

i think if your sitting in the car it wont arm the sensors or it is on a delay
open a window arm it then stick your head in the window
