my mk2 used to be an 8v too you know.........it still didn't handle anything like the corrado does.

"incorrect or misguided?" I'm not guided by anyone, I make my own mind up and form my own opinions, instead of following the crowd like yourself.

Most of us are influenced in some way by the latest trend...
those doing the opposite 'just to be different' are reacting to it as
much as those who are following it.

Then when somebody goes off and does something truly
original... they've just created the next fad ;)

Yup, I know it was, just digging over the old 'vr6 too heavy in m2' debate. The Corrados reputation as the best handling front wheel drive car of it's time preceeds it and yours is a low mileage minter iirc.

Well, blind men are guided by dogs. Which particular crowd would I be following then?

I'm with Alby on this, do your own thing and f'k the rest, thats what apple did with the original macintosh,

I just think that modifying your car should be to make it "better" how you define better is up to you

but a lot of these old skool jobs look like they've been done by linda barker on one of these daytime unemployed peoples tv makeover shows.

"In the shed we found an old deckchair, some wicker baskets some beige paint and a roofrack" que handy Andy with the jigsaw and mdf ;) ;)

Briefly... The innovative apple mac was designed just after Steve jobs and Steve Wozniak took a trip to Xerox's Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), where they stole most of the ideas from. As well as inventing the laser printer, Xerox invented the GUI, Mouse and Pointer... The concept of icons and a desktop too. They never made a production machine featuring it all, Apple did it for them ;)
