Well its lucky it happened then because i had the car booked in for a complete strip down and paint. If the guy could of walked(which he couldn't as he was cut out of his Astra LOL LOL LOL LOL) he would of been a dead man that night, guaranteed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

granted the red one is beyond economical repair, but the monte carlo one looks like it could be repaired ok,unless the paint job is going to be very expensive

Cheers guys. The annoying things was both of the accidents were not my fault!!!
I couldn't care less about people taking the **** as one day it might happen to them and they might realise!

I was gonna fix the purple one but the whole front and chassis was twisted. I couldn't open the drivers door either and knew getting it back on the road would cost too much. So transfered most the bits, like the engine and interior, into the red one.

Was definately bad luck though. It all happened in the space of 2 years so i was pretty gutted. [:^(]

But ive got my other one now so its all good!!!

The c-u-n-t who hit us was an off duty policeman. What a joke.

I was waiting behind a car on an unlit country road which was turning right into his farm house. This maniac, who thought he was a racing driver in his crappy Astra - lol - over took the car behind us, not seeing me stopped waiting over the browl of the hill. Within seconds, he had tryd to avoid us but hit us from behind at high speed, pushing my Mk2 a complete 180 degrees on the other side of the road.

I had my girlfriend in the front, and three mates in the back. All without seatbelts!!! God only knows how we all walked away

He had to be cut out lol, Just shows you, mk2s were built like tanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Cheers mate.

I was so gutted tho as endless weekends, loads of cash and my spare time were in that car. (Plus i had just lost nearly 5000 building the purple one.) But like you said, the right car ,just at the wrong time!!!

By the way, as the guy who hit us was a police officer, he still kept his job , and 2 weeks after i got a letter from the Police saying "he had been sent on a drivers awareness course".

Now, would that be the case for someone like us. I doubt it very much!!!!!!!!!

Oh. Within the space of two years isn't so bad, I was thinking they both happened fairly recently and you were ready to kill something.

    Glad you're up and running
