yes with Kamei (the original driver from 1979 will also be there as he organises the event).

700+ race cars racing to watch also, ex F1 cars through the years.

EDIT: this won't happen now due to some dates mixed up, another event is planned later this year but dates need to be confimed at both ends 1st.

Have you ever been to Nuerburgring? It's just a stunning (but very tricky) track.

I nearly crashed my friends mk2 16v last summer, so please whatch out for your car.

Asked Bonrath Germany about the wiper conversions they used to sell & are on my car:

Cannot refurb mine as the splines are all worn away....

Collected all the wheel bits and dropped off centre bits for gold painting & the back to be done in silver.

Dishes here look ok, still have a little bit of pitting on one or two but tbh they were very bad when i had them and still look a lot better now and should look fine on a photo, I may get some stainless ones in the future.

That's the same wiper kit I've got Mike.

The arm measures about 430mm end to end.

The blade is 450 mm, its bag is labelled WB18 (wiper blade 18" ?) Looks to be a universal thing.

Ah well, we won't be at the Oldtimers GP in Aug due to a mix up in dates.

I will be going through some other shows/events dates with Uwe to try to attend though depends if we can get the time off....one could turn out to be a dream classic if it happens though i won't jinx myself again until all sorted....tbc

Thanks to washtech in Worcester (Ebay links above) for the parts i required & a swift postage.

Ordered 1 wiper arm, 1 smooth cover & a wash wiper kit:

The wash wiper (which has 4 adjustable wash heads) clips over half way up the wiper arm on mine then you attach the rubber pipe end into your original pipe (you might want to shorten your pipe to tidy up the bay but if you tuck it through the vent like i did allow some slack to aid bonnet opening):

The cover just hides it away & tidies up the arm (my pipe isn't cable tied yet near the bottom end).

All fitted, i flipped mine around this time so that it wipes the driver side 1st:

Bought a battery box "just" big enough for my larger battery:

Just need to think about safe ways of securing it at the front of the wheel well...

Also have some KW Variant 3's in the post thanks to Markus Seidl at Seidl Motorsport
for a great offer on a set that has only been used for 3 hill climbs (with no accidents).

(2 helper springs not in pic have also been supplied)
