After a bit of searching i found a US website with better specs of the kit on the following website, http://www.hobbytron.com/vmk111.htmllooks like it will run on 12v

 

Try Farnell - they have a good range and the helpline bods know their stuff, and would be able to advise......

I have (or had), but its a messy afair and i didnt want that massive loom in my car. I am running a Mk2 Golf rad switch and loom. Much tidier.

The pump is now wired correctly as far as the ignition live is concerned, and if the rad fans kick in then the pump will run on too. However, i want to junk the fan relay loom thats been made up and swap to the timer relay option for peace of mind.

 

Nope, look at the run-on time. I'd think Trev could knock you up one in a nice ally box for cheap that would do the job properly?

 

Possibly, forgot Trev was into his electrics.
