The blue part is a special part, too. So you are not able to use the OE ball joint. Both parts are planed to be made out of steel. @thegave: This is a special part for the VR6/Golf Mk3 GTI hubs. it won't fit to a Mk2-Hub. But you can fit the hubs to mk2, too. But I think you have to use the wishbone of the "Plus"-Axle, too.
