As seen in the motorsport thread!

    I've fired off a e-mail to this firm http://www.pmwltd.com/catalog.html

I've asked if they be willing to do a group buy as there seem a bit of interst.

Cost of 295 dollers which works out as 152.677 GBP at the moment, but it be nice to get it a bit lower hey!!!

    Your thoughts mk1 guys?

Judging by the slicks he is running in that pic, they must be able to take some degree of abuse, - how many people actually run slicks over here on a regular basis?? I e-mailed the guy who makes them Dave Stone, and he has never had any failures..

I've ordered mine already! - do it while the exchange rate is nearly $2's to the ....

okay guys dave got back to me regarding a group buy, here is what he said!

    Charlie:

Yes I would be open to a group buy at a reduced price. I would have to have an idea of the quantity, before quoting a price. Would they be 17MM or 19MM, how many of each.

There would have to be a retainer in the area of 50% up front before I would start a production run.

Feel free to call me and discuss the options.

    Regards

    Dave

Well guys and girls, your thoughts???

Very good Charlie. I'd imagine they'd be strong enough being made in America, what with their "suing" culture !

I could be up for a pair if the price was right, save me having some made... well done.

I bought some high tensile high angular 5/8 rose joints for my steering arms and made some sleeves to fit them,.. not cheap at 150 for both of them, but suspension geometry will make more of a difference than anything else...

I'd also be up for a for a set if, if the price is right!

A thought that did run though my head was, if you used them on a road how little room there would be :o
would be good to see if the discount he might consider vary on the numbers, 5-9, 10-20, 21+ might be worth cross forum promoting them

This is the very reason I'm running TT hubs and wishbones on my Corrado. Even when low the wishbones and track rods are horizontal.
