I left the wheels on in the end, The rear discs have that shield around them so i could'nt rest it on the scales, It's not an easy job to do on your own.
Sorry to disagree mate but we've found that both clicks on the shocks and tyre pressures do make a significant difference with the F2. There are a set of brand new spax on the chassis I weighed last night and I can assure you it was levelling properly. If I'm in the mood tonight I'll have a play with the clicks on the scales and see what difference there really is. I agree that there has to be a large difference in tyre pressures to have any effect but we do run 12lb in the IF and this does make a change to where the weight goes. I suppose it depends on how accurate you want to be
I think thats ok for a golf only used for sprints, Before i set it up i set all the spax to zero clicks is that the right thing to do ?
All you are measuring is the weight distribution on each wheel. If the car is at the "normal" ride height and on level ground how can the dampers possibly make any difference? In a static state the scales see the suspension as a solid unit, how can damper setting effect the outcome?
Yeh but that TT Roadster has come up for sale again so i've got to sell that to the highest bidder and the ibiza.
225 W reg and only 8000 miles, Kellys will be in it all the time and i will have to use the MK2 [:^(]
