Anyone got pics of a Magnex manifold for a mk2 16v?

Also, how much (length) heat wrap would you need to do a manifold?

From the TSR pic in their advert the manifold looks like a straight rip-off of the Magnex one!

I had one of the first TSR Manifolds on my car made by Magnex mated to a 2.5 inch Remus Exhaust system.

I have the before and after Dyno plots from AmD which show an 8lb torque gain between 3-3500 rpm.

I have the plots here but don't know how to post it.

It also shows the extended power delivery at the very top whereas the stock manifold power delivery died away at 6800........the manifold helps to hold onto full power to the cut off at 7200.
AmD were very impressed by the result on a stock 1.8 16V GTI at the time.

Since going 2 litre it easily mates to a 9A block and on my most recent graph from Vince at Stealth he commented it worked well in conjunction with the cams 268/276 Schricks holding power well up to 7800rpm.

I've had no issues with noise or fitting problems and would recommend it over stock for the mid range increases.

i have a magnex manifold on mine, the mid range help it produced was great, never had any problems at all, no breakages, in 2 years, and the noise is glorious. i think lke em all it can be a bit throaty when going up through the revs, but i never heat wrapped it.

But........its going, i got to sell it, won't fit a VR^ will it.

Got a TSR Manifold on mine, can't comment on before and after as i built my engine with this on from the start.

I have got a slight leak from the connection to the rest of the system - Am planning on sorting out this connection anyway as i want to modify the collector on the TSR manifold to make it 2 1/2" like the rest of the system (i.e get rid of the venturi restriction). :)
