    Nay, sir, my capacity for drink is a perfectly natural attribute of my lineage... ;)

    Remember when your tatties went rotten in County Mayo? My great, great (and however many more greats) grandfather left the sceptred isle and settled in the fair Caledonia.

    I would be doing my ancestors a great dis-service in not being able to successfully drink such a quantity and remain in control of my faculties.

    It appears though that I may well have made an error in my list of tipples...it wasn`t `two and a half bottles of Rose`...one might have actually been a White Zinfandel... ;)

    Not quite the same since they altered the screw cap, it used to be a gold coloured cup of one measure. This could be used to drink out of. [:D]

    Same - but bottles of Bud and a bottle of gin as well, in case of a gin drought. I stayed mostly sober last night, going to end up hammered tonight as a result...

    I have a 2l bottle of Asda cider in the fridge as well - worth drinking, or use it as drain cleaner?

    I`m sure you`ve drank actual drain cleaner at some point so nothing to lose surely... ;) :lol:

    Not normally a drinker of alcoholic beverages these days as it plays havoc with me pills, But i've just discovered a taste for Budweiser..very nice ;)
