    "pretty impressive"

Dont go too over the top there, after all there's loads of 230+hp valvers out there, almost 10-a-penny. With 48mm TB's it would have been 250hp - which is "not bad" either I guess.

This is a high spec engine built by a guy who REALLY knows what he's doing with VW's - like Euro Rallycross Champs podiums (and when the flag drops the bull S stops). I dont know the exact details of many of the parts and if I did, I certainly wouldn't post them up here for the world to see - after all we dont know how TSR can theoretically get 200hp out of a 9A-based valver with 268/276's but yet no one else can, and we dont know about these fantastic heads that folk are getting done - so its ;) ;) ;) how its done from me too.

hee hee, pretty impressive [8(] [:$] master of understatement me. 230-250bhp definitely heavily worked XE territory that, very good for a VW motor.

you at donny again soon? i'll come and observe the bullpoo stopping.

    Well said Rob

At least I know that it does what says on paper and track....and yeah TSR wouldn't want me to know everything they do after all it's only fair to their business or they'd be out of work.

N/A is my preference I like straight forward rev the n-ts off performance for track...still gives good road performance with 160lbs too. ;)

Our MKIV is excellent on it's current spec for road performance but too bland for track use...needs a bigger turbo.

    Very nice figures though ;)
