Yokohama A539s... any good?

    Another vote for Toyo Proxies T1-S, got em all round and the car is superb in both the wet and the dry. Cars never used on a track tho so I can't really comment on wear, altho having had em on it for 9 months and driving it pretty hard for most of that time then I'd say the wear is pretty good (Compared to the budget tyres the car came with!)

    I had a set of A539s on my MK1, like has been said great in the dry, but wet performance is lacking.

    I also swapped the front to rear to even out the wear, but I still destroyed the entire set in under 10k miles!

    Hi,

    It depends what you do? I have been told that michelins are good for everyday driving....not too soft and not too hard

    Toyo's without a doubt, just replaced my fronts today.
