Your car? Daily driver or show car??

I've noticed that there are a fair few on here who have some very very nice motors, the Elsecar meet just proved how immaculate some of them are.
And i was just wondering how many of these cars were tucked away during the week, unlike us less mortals who have to use the same car for work and get stone chips and scratches!!

 

i've clicked two cars - although as soon as the project/toy is on the road the *daily driver* will spend more time abandoned than being driven

 

ive got a work horse (mk2 driver)and a project -kind of!(mk1)

 

weekends and shows only, when it's back together.

Got one daily driver and a mk2 project car that once done will replace my current daily driver.

But i rarely use the car midweek cos I walk everywhere!

I know exactly what you mean

 

one car that i dont really need and rarely use.

gives me summat to pee around with if/when i get 5 mins and a few quid to myself

 

well...i do have 2 cars...but vr6 (to be replaced by mr2) will be daily drive

mkII was bought cause it was so cheap and only meant to use it for a month whilst i did some maintenace on vr6...but its been sitting there for a while now doing nothing. gonna give it to the girlfriend to use when she sells her polo, till she finds her next car.

 

I can't wait till i get the room to go get my second car!! Looks like it's the thing to do if i can afford it!!
