Your car? Daily driver or show car??

only 3 now if i dont include the black mk1

mk1-bare shell,was an everyday car untill i killed it,will become a show/track type thing

sportline-erm,just sat in the unit waiting to be sold.

rado g60-everyday weapon

but weather theyre show or not,theyre all always mint.

One once was project but currently smashed up in garage Mk2 Gti undergoing rebuild and 2l 16v treatment

and a Mk2 1.1 polo squareback daily thrasher!

 

1 car for me,it does 350-400 miles most weeks

I would of gone for '4 cars, smug git!' but ones registed in sisters name, and spends it's time at uni!

I'm told I shuold get rid of a couple and get one half decent motor

 

i get told that too

 

2 cars for me, this is my second, an old Toyota Corolla, cheap as chips to run, leave it anywhere and not have to worry, and been very reliable for the five years I've had it....



It's even got 12 valves, that's more than my GTI, oh the shame of it

Used to have 3 cars, GTI Turbo for the daily drive, G40 as a show car and my old Polo sitting in the garage, sold the GTI and the G40 to fund a house purchase and a wedding, was given my dad's old merc, that he bought new in 1990, got 165k miles on the clock but drives beautifully. Sorting out my polo, for a bit of track fun, should have it ready for the scottish Club GTI day at Kames this summer

2....... well 3 at the minute but one is forsale..... Got the Golf as project/weekend car and a crappy Escort Diesel for work etc..... ive just bought a Mondeo TD Est to replace the Escort

 

16v Mk2 - used daily and occasionally showed, same applies to the Mk1 Polo but strictly speaking that belongs to my g/f now, gave it her when she passed her test

 

Similar to Stu, one car, used daily, and occasionally seen on club stands.

Could count the Lupo GTI too as its partly mine.....but thats a daily too!

 

One daily driver.....

My Capri Green MK 2....going to take it to some shows this year but just on the club stands its far from being immaculate!

 

This that hasnt moved since october, and A 307 HDI for using on the motorway, as I have to drive from CHester to Lancaster and back everyday, doing 900 miles a week!

MK1 Golf gti (Project, 2l 16v, rollcage, etc etc, list is long)

I've had upto 5 cars at one point, mk1's are great..
