You didn't waste any time! lol Good to see it being put to good use and not collecting dust hanging on my wall.

Which pedal box did you go for?

I'm probably going to go down the chassis engine mount route for this same reason.

Just means a lot more fab work though :(

Ordered some extra saddle clamps and some extra roll cage tube, going to add some extra door bars in, b pillar to tunnel cross brace, dash bar, extra diagonal on rear section and harness bar with harness fittings welded in

Sorry no pics yet! I've got to clear the car out as usual it ends up with all the bits I keep buying for it in it!

Just a genieric pedal box Neil I'll see how I get on! Trying to build on a budget if that's possible! Lol

Seat mounts arrived today which means seats can be mounted along with pedal box, I may move the steering wheel down a touch to suit

Cleared most of the crap out of the inside and started on the seat mounts

Measured up several times with blocks of wood under the seat mount, was bit of a pain with the cage in with door bar but it's all got to fit in! Inc me! Lol

Thought I'd got it in straight first if all but put the seat in and it was all over the place, so cut the tacks out and tried again

I then made some brackets to weld on

Mounts on the seats have elongated holes so no need for floating captive nuts

All tacked in place just need to do a final check before seam welding it all in

Had to go and look st a job so that was all my progress this afternoon unfortunately but now I've got the bits cut it shouldn't take to long

    Cheers Neil
All the little bits take time as you know!

Don't think my pedal box is going to fit as cylinders face forward and I don't think the room is there! Need one similar to yours

Yeah it's all those little bits that use up the most amounts of time and leave you with hardly anything to show for all your hard work.

Ah that sucks. There is room under the floor to cut a wedge into the floor / bulkhead but it does mean cutting into the chassis leg section.

I did notice you've got a lot of room behind your seat though. Could always move the seat back and extend / move the steering column maybe??

Would mean undoing all the work put into fitting the seat fixings though [8(]

I have thought about moving the seat back but at 5ft nothing I need to see out of the car! Think it will cause more issues

Seat frames are only tacked in just in case plans change (probably)

I'm hoping I can get on with plenty on Saturday as not planning on doing any customer work then!
