Spring is coming... I thought I better dig out the summer ride in preparation and do a little maintenance and tuning while I was at it. The basic setup. The modded setup. With the 50mm exhaust fitted it did not want to rev very high, so we checked it on the rolling road and the fueling was not great, but my helper was close at hand. And with some useful advice too. It runs like a good one now, so I will catch Forrest Gump now no matter how fast Jenny tells him to run!
It is the 7hp sidevalve with leccy start. At least that is what it was prior to the lum upgrade and re-jet. Could not get any decent power number readings after the mods as she just smoked up the tyres on the rollers. The torque delivery from the big single is a bit lairy. Magners? Any port in a storm daved. You know how it is. It is a bit remote here so the "Withnail and I effect" can comes into play every now and then.
It must be a bloody smoth ride then. When I tried that with the Husky, on big fat bog tyres, the Perlenbacher frothed out of the bottle. Anyway you're too old for Miss daved if you can remember Richard E. and Paul Mc.!
How did you get your Husky on it in the first place? I have no such luck with mine! He just looks at it and wonders what it is all about.
Fecking hell danster. I yield. We are either in cahoots, or you are one of the sods on the 10,000,000 gHz wavelength!
I bring you today's upgrades! Larger secondary fluid reservoir for endurance use and oil to make grass cutting a pleasure! Further tuning involves working out how to install this larger inlet valve.
I see you've gone an bought your own Tennents Dan - a very wise move considering the absence of our Size 4 clog arbiter. I've got the remainder of the McEwans Export slab to get through this evening.
I reckon you are holding Stella hostage while you finish the slab of McEwan's! And with regard to finishing the slab, it will probably take you a week, and that is with lemonade you soft, southern, shandy drinkin.....
He is indeed a Samoyed, and I have the joy of getting his winter coat off him soon which involves a cider or two and scissors. Hairdressing........how hard can it be? Due to it being rather warm up here today, I was concerned the mower's secondary fluid reservoir may not be sufficient to allow cutting of lawn without the onset of dehydration, so have a further mod completed.
.. subject to owning up to why on earth Dan should have a GIRLS size 4 clog, when Stella knows narthin about it. Meantime, empty keg, and I've got the McEwans (well, there's a can left - and the rest has been processed)
