I have yet to see evidence of the machine moving at all. [:s]
As for any performance gains, this remains pub-talk only if no dyno plots are produced. :p

Oh, and daved, your cat looks slightly confused, IMHO...

As the last liquor run confirmed, the "engine tuning versus increased load carrying capacity index" has altered, due to the need to supply drink for Miss daved and myself. This has manifested in some traction issues.[:s]

This problem has now been addressed and I now unveil the.........UR Mower Quattro!

A neat piece of modding. Has the cat got any recommendations for toe and camber settings?

Confirmed with Stella today the clogs weren't hers ;)

Perhaps I can assist with your off road traction issues?

BTW Chris when can I let Stella go?

I'm being asked a lot of questions at work about why there are muffled banging noises coming from an out of use cell;)

I can supply these from back in the day. Mind you, even fitting all three on the car, I still had some traction issues. And, one rear brake drum, for some reason, wore from the outside?

They look like cheap hobbyist tyres to me. Go with the professionals: choose Gaz Snow Tyres.

When you turn the eccentric strut tops to the rear on your mk1, that will be the time to ask these questions!;)
The tabby cat (ace venturi jet detective) will not participate in assisting you with your problems until you have at least grasped the basics of suspension and steering.

I have another mad cat that is beyond help though, he is still stuck in a world of 16v madness! Cat cams!

The front end of my Golf needs no attention - it won 2 VW Cup championships in that spec ;)

I was actually asking about the set up of your rotary mower/garden beer transport.

For the drawing board, front wheel drive Golf handling differs somewhat from common garden rotary mowers, masquerading as Quattro-esqe, but still evidently RWD ;)

They look like Kitten Cams to me - there's not enough lift on them

Knowing Gaz's car as I do, i'd say that would be one of it's vital fluids making a bid for freedom. :);)

Brake fluid - typical PB 8-valve pensioned-off brake system. The lazy owners just cut the pipes, rather than strip the lot off.

It's the only way to get some pace out of the things.
