^^Does your madness know no bounds? If both of those were ever full (which I would doubt!); the weight would blunt the performance to an unacceptable level.
Between you, the Samoyed, a Micron exhaust and your advice-giving cat, I wouldn't put any money on that machine making it to the end of the garden.
If he sorted out a decent 850cc, 2 stroke motor, for it, me and my cat 'MO' would show him how to tune it.
With regard to performance my good friend, you have underestimated the dansters "tuning for torque" capabilities. Whilst at the rolling road we mapped the engine to utilise the excessive amounts of alcohol vapour around me to give more power than conventional fuels alone. I have already proved the machines abilities by going to town and picking up some extra supplies for the weekend!
This would necessitate a direct feed straight from the driver to the engine. This is not something I would want to see posted here!
That indeed is sherry for the lady! I am expecting miss daved anytime now, and if she drinks like her papa, this should just about get her through the night!
I wouldn't think that would last for long TBH. Talking of the effervescent Miss daved, were pics ever forthcoming?
As I am sure you are aware, there was a small problem arising from a careless (but not hairless) bit of banter resulting in a military strike on the danster. I have been keeping a look out for the troops but as expected they have failed to make an appearance, in a not dissimilar fashion to the pic of Miss daved. It would appear all the initial bigging up that Daved mentioned about Miss Daved being an atheletic legendess with a lethal scrotum destroying netball throw to be untrue. Other than "the worst ever spot the ball competition pic" (see other thread) things have been a little quiet on that front. Much to my disappointment I may add. I am not getting any younger.[:^(]
a mid-engined sports tractor is all very well, but to attract a woman of substance such as miss daved you might need one of these - 16 horsepowers of cast-iron, front-engined, american muscle: a man's tractor, for a man's world. (biggest load i ever pulled with that was a 12 foot trailer loaded with half a ton of beech trunks, uphill, at a heady 5 mph)
oem-, a must-have for garden machinery this year. danster - how about a bit of matt black for that moody look?
I suggest fitting a stroker to it. There are lots available from the Saab Valmet factory. Mo says you must tune it properly. Instructions herewith. She also says: Don't put the cartridges, (she means jets) in the wrong socket, (she means tapping), as the ejts from Kawasaki did on the Dublin Ro-Ro!
As you can see from my sig alexblades, I am not a scene kinda guy, so I will not be painting the ride matt black even though it would help dissipate heat from the engine, it would reduce the thermal efficiency too much as the "alcohol vapour tune" runs cooler anyway. Miss daved drank that sherry in no time last night so I had to get the mower fired up for another liquer run today. And to think Bristolfish said it would not get out the garden. I will admit though, that I did have some traction issues with the full load and wheel spin due to the massive torque of the tuned B & S engine.
