Fine Tune, will be able push the Ignition to the Max on the road rather than just under RR Session conditions.

and the additional safety factor, remeber the Engine isn't for daily use, the only time its run is under extreme conditions (6 - 8k)

    I disagree.
Got one of these devices by Boris for my WOLF R 3 years ago and never used it. What will you do when it false detects and your settings instruct the ECU to pull X amount of spark out your map. This is not a fix for poor mapping. Map your engine right and you will not have a problem. Trev16v covered it really.

I had one of these on my 16vt Brooky. I disconnected it as no matter how much I turned down the sensitivity it still heard noise and pulled timing. Like Toyo says, get it mapped on the rollers and stand by it. I understand the need for a safety net, but I don't think this is it! I think that the stock ECU type knock sensing is about as good as it can get... I don't think retro fitting in this way from what I've read [:-B]

3/8 BSP tap , i bought some M8 ID Vac pipe.

The Throttle linkage on Badger 5 Set is on the side , nowwhere near the pipe.

Unlike other types which have the linkage in the centre and runs under the TB's or on top.

Thanks to Sambo we have a RR Session up North

so finger crossed we will see the results

Bargate will be running the LHD Madmax Rocco too so we will have a 200bhp + Valver on the rollers and maybe a few more ;)

Would be good if Toyo, Gurds & Inifinity could make it up.

    Just got back Great Day

    My runs

    1st Run 198.7BHP @ Flywheel 182.1 @ Wheels
    2nd Run 197.1BHP @ Flywheel 181.7 @ Wheels 6500rpm 167lb/ft @ 5665 rpm [:D]

Very happy with that, its rich at bottom end and lean at top end so needs more fuel at top end from 6500rpm up the power was flat from 6500 upwards,so work in progress but after probably 20bhp available with the fueliing sorted these cams should peak at 7500rpm

Bargates Rocco did 245.5 BHP @ Flywheel 191lb/ft torque Sounded mental at 8000rpm !!!!!!!!!!

I now feel that i have achieved a great goal thanks to everybody on here for the support.

198.7bhp its not quite 200bhp but it was the first time on the rollers and its only been mapped on the road for 1/2 hour, so i feel that there is alot more to come NASP, and alot more with the n2o.

if i could have tweaked the map today on the rollers it would have broke through the 200bhp bracket with ease.

After analysis of teh power graph from Chipwizards that Sambo will post later, you can see from 5500rpm to 8100rpm the power line is flat @ 197.1bhp due to it running lean on the map.

I have now increased the fuelling from 5500rpm upto 8100rpm i will do some datalogging and will keep you posted on the results,

From the Results on Saturday it looks to me like a target of 220bhp @ 7500rpm is on the horizon with a nice Torque figure to suite. [:D]
