I say we all Email "The Golf", and ask for someone else to do the column. Like 800g's, Prof or Golden.

LOL at the comments! Not good words for customer retention! I know you need to keep as many customers as you can in his game, comments like that could help him go out of business at the end of the day.

I dealt with Roy before, he fed me no bullpoo and was extremely helpful when I queried the order I had.

Is this actually related to the title of the topic?!
My 2.0l 16V seems to shift my Golf okay.
Testing an R32 in an hour. That should be plenty methinks.

It's the charming way that Mr Cresswell rips the pi55 out of your car and mostly talks nonsense that keeps me going back there time after time.............. ;)

TSC, a magazine column for me would be fun but i know nowt really, it would be more like a transcription of Ross Nobles standup show...........for proper vw advice .......send for 800gs

In the MK3 buying guide a while back, he said the 16v was too gutless for words and the 8v was the motor to go for.

Everyone's entitled to an opinion I suppose. Tit.

OMG - i have just choked laughing - in what possible way could the 8v mk3 gti be better than the 16v?

perhaps it has better MPG, more low down, cheaper insurance
