    Hi all,

I have just got myself a 50mm KR 16V Inlet Manifold for my golf and noticed something that worried me! - On one of the end runners on the underside there is a large indent none of the other runners have this.

It actually restricts the internals of the runner so it made me wonder [:s]

Is this normal (just for clearance) or have i got myself a duff manifold?!

    cheers

oh well i'll just get my porting tools on it then stick it on and see what its like :)

I've got the smallest Inlet manifold on at the mo so hopefully it might be a bit better top end??

Should see about 5-7bhp more (at the top end) changing from a small to larger inlet on a 16v

Yeah, should be better top end. Will be interested to hear your opinion on what it's done to the lower end torque once fitted..

Well the 50mm Inlet Manifold has been on a week now......................................................... ..........................................'................. .....I'm SURE its slower!! [:^(]

It's definately a smoother more linear power delivery, which is quite nice... BUT i'm sure its slower than when the small inlet manifold was on there!!!!

    Anyone else noticed this!!??

Anyone think its worth checking the CO with the new inlet on?
