I dont understand how an 8v can only 'feel' more torquey compared to a 16v. I am essentially comparing a 2.0 16v Corrado to a 2.0 8v mk2. I love the way the mk2 accelerates or is that just more 'feeling' and not real torque?
its do do with the area under the torque curve and the shape of it... low down grunt and a flat torque curve give the shove in the back feeling

I need another post from Danster to give him a chance to fight his corner before I make my mind up on the Poll. I dont know very much about torque curves etc.. but I love the shove in the back 'feeling' my 8v gives me, initial take off also feels better than the VR6 converted mk2 I have, not sure if this is more 'feeling' though
